Songwriter Dokta Mind reveals how he deliberately swapped Beera Nange and Sabula between Sheebah Karungi and Fille Mutoni, a transfer that turned out to be a “blessing in disguise.”
Dokta Mind shared that Sheebah’s hit tune Beera Nange was initially meant for Fille, whereas Fille’s Sabula was initially crafted for Sheebah.
Nevertheless, he determined to make a swap and gave every artist the opposite’s tune.
I wrote Beera Nange aiming to present it to Fille and Sabula aiming to present it to Sheebah, however I deliberately switched them. It was a mistake that became a blessing.
The choice was pushed by a strategic imaginative and prescient for each artists’ musical journeys. On the time, Fille lacked a dancehall vibe in her music catalog, whereas Sheebah had not explored the softer, extra emotional sound that Beera Nange provided.
Fille didn’t have a dancehall tune, and Sheebah didn’t have a relaxed, sweet-like tune, so I made the choice.
