The police in Hoima have debunked social media rumors alleging that Bison Katantazi, popularly generally known as Captain Ricky of the Ebonies group, was shot lifeless within the city.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Area Police spokesperson, categorically dismissed the reviews, saying that no capturing incidents have been recorded within the space.
We wish to make clear that reviews circulating on social media in regards to the capturing of Bison Katantazi, also referred to as Captain Ricky from the Ebonies, in Hoima are false.
The rumors, which started spreading on Thursday morning, sparked concern amongst netizens. Social media posts from his group members claimed, that the actor had been shot.
Extra allegations sufficed yesterday that Ricky is in Kalangala and had faked his loss of life to run away from money owed.
