Producer Daddy Andre has voiced his issues about Eddy Kenzo’s function as a senior presidential advisor on creatives saying the function was match for somebody like him (Andre) who’s “extra educated.”
Appointed by President Museveni in August, Kenzo’s function has sparked various opinions from fellow artists, with Andre suggesting Kenzo may be higher suited to advise recording artists slightly than the broader inventive sector.
Having beforehand been a part of the Uganda Nationwide Musicians Federation (UNMF) earlier than his departure, Andre shared his views on the appointment.
He believes that advising the inventive sector requires people with a selected talent set and mental background, which he suggests could not align with Kenzo’s experience.
I feel they need to have given him [the advisory role] for recording artistes as a result of creatives want some individuals like us who’re intellectually educated and geniuses. Respect the president, when he offers you the time, go together with knowledge, intelligence, or when you’re genius.
