King Saha has clarified that musicians are ready to determine their very own Uganda Performing Rights Society (UPRS) if the federal government fails to deal with their wants.
King Saha says that artists have the potential to create their platform for managing their royalties, separate from authorities affect.
King Saha’s remarks come amid rising dissatisfaction amongst musicians, significantly relating to dealing with royalties and copyright modification.
He revealed that he confronted immense exterior stress when he contested for the presidency of the Uganda Musicians Affiliation (UMA).
In response to him, UMA has remained unbiased, not like the Uganda Nationwide Musicians Federation (UNMF), led by Eddy Kenzo, which he believes is extra aligned with authorities pursuits.
