Sheilah Gashumba has praised dancer Ritah Danchall following widespread criticism of her efficiency through the weekend Dexta Daps’ live performance in Kampala.
Rita Danchall, who was chosen as Dexta Daps’ dancer for the present, sparked controversy when she stepped on stage carrying a standard Gomesi, a revered Buganda cultural gown.
Throughout her efficiency, she stripped off the Gomesi to disclose her common dancing costume, which upset many followers.
Critics accused Ritah of disrespecting Buganda’s traditions and referred to as on the Uganda Communications Fee (UCC) to take motion towards her and different worldwide musicians whose music they deemed vulgar.
