Eddy Kenzo, who’s the President of the Uganda Nationwide Musicians Federation (UNMF) and a Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives, has voiced his considerations in regards to the rising ranges of inappropriate dressing, specific language, and nudity within the music trade.
Addressing the matter, Kenzo revealed plans for an upcoming assembly with the Uganda Communications Fee (UCC) to deal with this rising challenge.
In keeping with Kenzo, the UCC is working alongside different establishments to lift consciousness amongst musicians about their cultural roles, encouraging them to behave as ambassadors of Ugandan tradition.
Kenzo identified that a lot of the problematic content material is influenced by international developments and public demand, noting that “if the general public didn’t devour this content material, musicians wouldn’t produce it.”
