Former singer and media character, Mr. Mosh, born Mosh Ssendi, is setting his sights on a bigger political function forward of Uganda’s 2026 common elections.
After stepping away from the media in 2021 to pursue a profession in politics, the previous TV and radio star is now contemplating a run for Parliament or a mayoral place.
Mr. Mosh has been a member of the Nationwide Unity Platform (NUP) since leaving his media profession, becoming a member of the celebration led by Bobi Wine, also referred to as Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
In accordance with him, his friendship with Bobi Wine predates the political panorama, an element that solidified his belief in becoming a member of the NUP.
I didn’t be a part of Bobi Wine due to NUP; the 2 of us had been mates even earlier than politics, and that’s what stored the belief between us.
Mosh says that his political journey is pushed by private effort and his need to serve his neighborhood.
I don’t thrive due to the institution; I thrive due to my hustle. Kyagulanyi is sort of a brother to me—we used to satisfy once we had been younger. Becoming a member of NUP felt pure, and it was the perfect resolution I made.
Presently serving as a councillor, Mosh Ssendi believes he could make a good larger influence if elected to the next place.
He expressed confidence in his means to leverage the elevated alternatives and sources accessible to these in parliamentary or mayoral positions to higher serve his constituents.
