When using TuneSpotlight ("Service"), we process certain personal data to provide the service, improve user experience, and fulfill legal obligations.

• Communication: If you subscribe to our newsletter or apply as an artist/curator, we process your email address and name.
• Service Provision: During live showcase events, we may process technical data (IP address, cookies) to ensure chat and interactions (e.g., WOW reactions) function correctly.

3. Scope of Processed Data

• Voluntarily Provided Data: Name, email address, social media links (upon application).
• Uploaded Audio Files: High-quality music files uploaded by artists for their scheduled showcases. These files are stored securely and are only used for the single live broadcast event.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, time of visit.
• Cookies: We use cookies essential for the operation of the website.

4. Data Transfer

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties unless required by law or essential for providing the service (e.g., hosting provider).

6. Artist Music Rights & Usage

When an artist submits music to TuneSpotlight:

• Ownership: The artist retains 100% of all rights, including copyright and intellectual property rights, to their music.
• One-Time Stream Right: The artist grants TuneSpotlight a limited, non-exclusive right to stream the submitted track exactly once, specifically at the time of their scheduled showcase.
• Exclusive Use: We will not use the artist's music for any other purpose or in any other location other than the single scheduled showcase stream.
• Storage & Deletion: We store the audio file only until the completion of the scheduled showcase. After the showcase broadcast has ended, the audio file is permanently deleted from our servers.
• Teaser Video Usage: With the artist's explicit consent, we may create a short teaser video using the artist's own music. These teaser videos are used exclusively for promotional purposes on TikTok and Instagram to highlight the artist's upcoming showcase and will not be used for any other purpose.
